I have managed to put in drop-down boxes that are dependent upon the previous
box [cascading lists you called them]. I have now also used ‘Unique Options’.
I started with 2 drop-down boxes; an “area/workshop†list.
The 2nd box now shows the “workshop†list for the area selected in box 1 and
it only shows them once. A success, thanks to your help.
Question: I cannot seem to get the items in drop-down box 2 to appear in
alphabetical order. Which tips/guidance do I need to read?
I then moved on to 3 boxes. The 2nd still works fine. But I am having
trouble with the 3rd. I think I have followed all of your guidance e.g.
Specify filter conditions
And
not(. = ../preceding::my:group2/my:field2)
Both of these methods work on their own for box 3, but when I use them
together the drop-down box [3] is empty.
Question: What am I doing incorrectly? Do you have any ideas of what I
need to read up on?
Thanks again for your help.
Kindest regards
Andy
