I have a list where I store Infopath results. The rows in the list are
meant to be viewed (read-only is fine) and to be edited (more
information needs to be added to the form as it runs through the
review cycle.) I'm not using workflow for the moment (walk before
running....)
I've set the list up to store versions. I want to be able to roll
back, or at least see what "used" to be there. Problem is, Infopath
submit doesn't seem to invoke the checkin dialog, and just fails.
Users can go to the site and manually check in the item, but that's an
extra step I don't want them to do.
Can I somehow set Infopath to automatically "check in", or do I need
to give up on versioning?
