Hi,
I'm new to Infopath and have created a form with multiple views which have
different forms. I would like to set different controls (fields) manadatory
in different views, which would mean that a user could select a view, fill
out form in that view and submit it, however it would mean that some
mandatory controls in different views are blank - however these are not
relevant to the particular form the user is filling out in the view they have
chosen.
So I guess what I'm asking is: can you have mandatory controls which are
left blank in views not required by a user and if so, how do you set that
validation? I've tried a variety of rules, data validation and conditional
formatting, but can't seem to figure it out.
Many thanks,
A.
