InfoPath Data Connection to Access Database in Sharepoint library

I have an Access database that resides in a document library in Sharepoint.
I would like to create in InfoPath form to populate the database. When in
InfoPath I am using Data Connection Wizard to connect to the database. Using
Select Database I put in the correct path to the database and the Wizard
returns an error that says "An unspecified error occurred while attempting to
connect to the data source. Microsoft Office InfoPath supports only MS SQL
Server and MS Office Access databases. Please check the connection to ensure
it uses one of these two databases." I'm confused. Any suggestions would
be welcome.

I believe you need a folder path to the Access mdb file for InfoPath to like
it. I do not think it can be at a web address like a sharepoint server.

So \\server\site\share vs. http://server/site/share
