We use an InfoPath form with 39 buttons to open 39 other (new) InfoPath
forms. All the forms are located in SharePoint forms libraries. All forms use
standard InfoPath functionality. No custom code has been used. When clicking
on a button on the initial form, a new form is opened from a SharePoint forms
library through a rule. The new form retrieves information from several
SharePoint lists through standard defined dataconnections. The new form is
then saved and closed by clicking a submit button which saves the form to the
respective forms library and the automatically closes the form (through
standard defined InfoPath rules). Problem: It often happens when saving and
closing a new form through the submit button, that an error appears which
says that the form cannot be saved due to one of the following reasons: the
site is offline, read-only or not available (translation from Dutch). When
closing all open InfoPath forms (the initialform and the newly opened form)
and trying it again, it gets saved correctly. How can we prevent this
behaviour? Software used: Client: InfoPath 2003 with SP2 (11.6565.6568) ==
Dutch; Windows XP professional with SP2 == Dutch; Server: SharePoint Portal
Server 2003 with SP2 == Dutch; Windows 2003 Server Standard Ed. == English
Thanks !
