I have a number of forms libraries on a sharepoint site, and now while
rolling out the project to production, a disturbing performance issue
has cropped up, and seems to be tied to my account.
The simplest form has literally five fields; three text boxes for
people's names, one RTF field, and a radio button set with three
buttons to indicate status. No data connections to get names, no
conditional formatting, nothing. All data is typed in by the end-user
No matter what machine I use, so long as I'm logged in with my account,
the form opens in 1-2 seconds, whether I'm connected via VPN or on the
office LAN. Any other user, on any other machine (fast or slow), it
takes anywhere from 30-60 seconds to load.
I've been searching these groups, but none of the performance issues
listed for large forms could possibly at issue here; the form is too
small!
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
