Hi ,
I am creating an infopath form which has a number of fields including
those of type string and whole number.
When Publishing it to a Sharepoint 2007 server i can enable "allow
users to edit data using a datasheet or properties page" for the
fields that are of type string.
How ever whenever i try to do this for the type whole number i can an
error saying field cannot be edited in sharepoint. Any ideas why?
Hence if i click on the upload button and upload any file, the user
can enter only the fields of type string.
The whole purpose of doing it is...
I have a forms library where users can either create a new form or
upload existing documents by adding details of certain properties.
So when they click new, an infopath forms comes up and they can enter
a list of properties...
If they click upload, they should be able to upload any doc, and also
be prompted to enter the same properties which would be associated
with the document they have uploaded.
Thanks
