I have been tinkering with InfoPath and wondering if some one can give
approach with sample code.
Scenario: I have an InfoPath form with lot of controls and couple of
dropdown list boxes. Dropdown lists values are populated from SQL Server. I
created this form by choosing “from Database Connectionâ€.
I want to enable this form as offline form, to achieve this I created few
secondary xml data files and started feeding dropdown list values with xml
data files. This works fine as long as database is open (still retrieves the
values from xml files)
Problem: But when SQL server is down, form will not open and it will be keep
searching for database connection. How do I get rid of this problem and make
the form available offline.
