Infopath form and Access

I created an Access 2003 DB and then an Infopath form based on it. It works
great on my computer. I then moved the DB and form to a server that all of
my companies computers have access to. I placed a link to the form on these
computers. The form opens just fine. However, when I try to submit, I am
getting permissions errors. Can anyone help me with the setup of the DB and
form so that it functions outside of my PC? Thanks in advance for the help
and have a great day.

First of all once the database has been moved i presume you have gone into
the design of the form and linked it to the new database before publishing.
Given that, does the folder in which the database resides have OPEN access ie
no write restricitons on it otherwise infopath will not be able to submit.
best thing to do is to secure your database rather than the folder and give
infopath the username and password.

I hope this helps

I didnt think I needed to make any changes to the DB since I'm using the same
one, just moving it to a different location. Where do I go to change the
database before publishing? I am also getting an error when I try to publish
that reads " Form includes a control with an error. Data entered will not be
stored. " Is there a way to locate the error. I dont see any issues when I
preview and test the form.
Thanks again for all the help. :)

I too am having the same issue. I am workiing for a company that will not
allow me access to the SQL server, IIS, or any web programming tools. My boss
wants a web form fo the Facilities department that people can submit trouble
tickets too. I created the form, created the Access DB, works like a champ on
my system. BOMBS on the network share.
