InfoPath form can't open

I am relatively new to InfoPath forms. I inherited forms from someone who has
since left the company. When I make a change to the VB script and make a
mistake that results in InfoPath saying the form cannot be opened and a blank
form cannot be created, is there any way to get to the VB script so I can fix
the error? I'm not a programmer by trade, but I know a little bit. I have a
copy of the original form, but I would prefer not to lose all the changes I
made. Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated.

I should tell you I'm using InfoPath 2003.

Hello,

Right-mouse-klick on the .xsn will open a contextmenu.
Select open in design mode.

If you the preview the form in designer, the error messages should be
displayed

After the opening the .XSN in design mode go to Tools -> Programming
