Infopath Form Column Headings in a Public Form Folder

hello!

I have an infopath forms folder that is located in out public
folders. When the forms are in our personal folders all our custom
columns (like, for example, project number) appear. When we move the
form to our public folders and create the custom column to display
data inside the form, the column remains blank. In other words,
outlook is not looking inside the form to place the data in the column
view.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

I had another person with the same issue recently but I cannot locate it nor
remember exactly what the outcome was. it maybe was not available in public
folders but again I cannot remember.

You need to verify the public folder is built for InfoPath type.

I would try as a test create a new public folder and see if that is any
better. Sometimes update does not work well and they need to be recreated.

I will keep looking.

I've tried recreating the infopath forms folder several times.

I'm beginning to think that the functionality is simply not there.

Let me know if you find anything!

Thanks!

I am guessing you do not have SharePoint, if you are trying to use a public
folder to display your form data.
The only other real option is to have your forms tied to SQL, if you have
that, to provide aggregation and view promoted fields.
