Hello,
I have been working on an Infopath form that submits and edits data stored
in a Sharepoint list.The trouble with it that during testing random errors
appear.
It almost always submits data but it does not edit it as it gives the "URL
error" message in the response XML it receives.
That seems very strange to me as it uses the same function to submit data as
t does to edit data, the only difference being the command parameter
transmitted to that function (new for submit, edit for editing).
Another problem would be that even the submiting does not work 100%
sometimes giving the "unexepected error" message.
I don't know what to make out of all of these.No change occurs in the code
between a successfull attempt to enter data and one that fails.
Could it be from the data connection failing?Is there a function like data
renew or refresh to prevent this?
Both Sharepoint and Infopath are 2003 versions.
Could you please give me a hint what could be done in order to have the form
work 100% of the time?
