Infopath Form Limitations w/re SharePoint Views

We have created an InfoPath form (hosted in SharePoint) that contains
about 150 data fields of varying types. The forms works great; we've
collected a ton of data.

However, when we attempt to create views of our data, we see that only
a portion of the fields we specified for reporting (in Tools/Form
Options/Form Library Columns) are actually available with which to
create views.

Apparently there are limitations on the number of fields and/or fields
of certain types in SharePoint.

Short of reporting (creating views) on fewer fields, is there a
limiting variable that I can tweak to show more fields of, say, type
drop-down in SharePoint. I have about 50 such fields but only see 40
or so in the SharePoint view creation screen.

Thanks for your advice...

Frank, actually that was my post...

I'm posting here because I'm trying to learn what the limit is. I've
gone through both the SharePoint and InfoPath SDKs and admin manuals
but have had no luck.
