Infopath Form Services rendering issues in insert actions

Has anybody seen this wierd style problem (see images) in an infopath
form embedded (with the XmlFormView controls) in a custom master page
in sharepoint ?

This is probably a problem in some stylesheet, but I can't find out
which one........

Strange thing is that this problem occurs in IE8 and not in
Firefox.........

Any help is welcome,

It is a IE8 render bug (even when Sharepoint SP2 is installed), in IE7
no problems
