Hi
I have run into an issue with multi line edit boxes in InfoPath forms that
are published to/running from Forms Server 2007. (Especially in with the
"print view" of a form)
In the InfoPath form, I have a multi line edit box that is filled in with
enough data to make the vertical scroll bars appear. When this form is
rendered in a web browser, and in a print view, the edit box is displayed
without the scroll bars (as expected), but the text in the bottom of the edit
box is not visible. In other words, the text in the bottom of the edit box is
cropped out by the size of the edit box. The edit box is not auto-expanding
to show all the text in the edit box.
Is there anything one can do to make the multi line edit boxes auto expand
to show all the text they contain, and in a way that is supported by Forms
Server 2007 and browser rendering? Any ideas?
I would ideally like to pull this off without any custom code in the form,
but if there is no other way but to use code, then so be it.
Please let me know what you think.
Thanks ahead,
Carlo
