InfoPath Forms in SharePoint

Can InfoPath forms exist within SharePoint outside of Forms Libraries?
I would like to setup a folder hierarchy within a document library and
have my InfoPath forms live within those folders as a means for
organizing the forms. I would like a user to be able to click on the
link to a form within a folder and have the user complete the form and
save it back to SharePoint. I would have several different types of
forms within the same folder.

Can this be done?
