I have found a bug with the Rich Text Box control when used in an InfoPath
2007 Beta 2TR browser-enabled form.
Scenario:
Form contains a drop-down control and several Rich Text box controls. The
value of the drop-down control determines whether to show or hide certain
Rich Text Box controls. The drop-down selection causes a postback to the
server and displays the appropriate Rich Text Box controls. Selecting a Rich
Text Box control to type in causes an error on the page:
Line: 12341
Char: 1
Error: Object required
Code: 0
Url: (link to the current form)
The user can still type in the Rich Text Box controls and submit the form;
however, when the form is opened again, the text in those boxes has been lost.
I have found that if any postback to the server occurs before a Rich Text
Box control has been used, then this error will occur.
I have not found a valid work-around for this error.
Thanks,
Phillip
