InfoPath into Excel

Can an Infopath template be exported to an excel spreadsheet template via a
button using rules or by using VBA.

I need to use an Infopath form for input but the data needs to be stored in
Excel.
the merge process in infopath and sharepoint takes to long to merge alot of
files and crashes so i need it to populate excel as soon as the form is
submitted to the team room

Hi Mark,

You may want to also post this in the MS Office Infopath discussion group using the link below and include in your posting there the
version of Office you're working with.
