Hi,

I Have a form wich is dua as of next wednesday.

The form is big, and is for making sales proposals.

The form works ok but i need to add a rule on submission to query a
webservice in order to get the number for this proposal and to submit into
the sabe webservice but, when i put the rule i use after the query to the
webservice, in order to changue the field value i get a "Duplicate Attribute"
and cannot set the rule.

How can i solve this quickly? or how can i diagnose wich Attribute is

The webservice is running ok and works ok, the primary key in database is a
autonumber.

The issue is in INFOPATH when i use a rule to change a field in the form and
click on the FX button and use ANY formula, when i click ok i get the
"Duplicate Attribute" error.

Thank you for your help.

Hi,

Does the error happen for any forumla that you type and if you add a new
field and the forumla to it does it still occur? Could you post the forumla?

Hi,

Sorry, I don't have a solution for you except more information.

I have seen this problem in one context. When we add an XSLT file to
transform one XML into a Word document. After adding a DataConnector (for
XSLT ressource file) you will see this symptom.

The only way to repair the xsn after this magical glitch from our friend
Bill, you have to remove manually all reference of this file by editing
differents files in the XSN template (it's a CAB) or save As Ressources Files
(something similar)

For reader how think this is not possible please try with a new form. Add
Test field, Test2 field. Add a DataConnector on a valid XSL (created with
XMLTOXSL Office tool) then add ANY formula and you will see this superb
situation.

(InfoPath 2007 with ou without SP1, Win XP SP2)

Good luck!
