InfoPath Offline Solution Help

Hi All,

I have been tasked with researching InfoPath as a solution for managing
service work orders by our mechanics. These mechanics do field
maintenance and are not online at all except at the end of the day when
they dial up to our corporate network. The current system has them
filling out a paper work and snail mailing it back to corporate where
the data is entered into our Great Plains system.

We are looking at placing tablet pc's in the field with mechanics and
need a way for them to fill out the work order as they are performing
the maintenance. The form would then have to be stored locally until
they connect at the end of the day at which point the new work orders
would be uploaded.

Our mechanics are not computer savy and I would like to avoid a
solution that has them saving the form manually every time and
attaching completed forms to an email message, and then sending the
message when they connect.

An ideal solution would be filling out the form, clicking "Submit", and
then when a connection is established the form is automatically
uploaded. If the user has to do much more than put the data on the
form and click enter we could be in trouble.

Any ideas, experiences, or resources that I could look at would be very
helpful. If InfoPath isn't the right solution for this problem or you
think there is something better out there that would be appreciated
too.

Thanks in advance...
