InfoPath posted to Share Point - Invalid File Type

Good Afternoon,

I have two users who can not successfully post a copy of a published
InfoPath form. When they post a copy of the form template in another
location in SharePoint (via My Network Places), it posts as an unknown file
type and is inaccessible. When I post it, it posts as an InfoPath form file
type and is accessible. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi,

can you please provide more details as to what are you trying to
achieve?

Thanks,

Hi Paresh,

The simplest way to explain it is I would like these two admistrators to be
able to post an InfoPath form that posts in the correct format and is
accessible.

We publish the InfoPath form to one location in SharePoint, but we do not
want general users to be able to modify that library. Therefore, we post
that same published InfoPath form to another location fin SharePoint for
general users to access (being they need contribute rights to submit the
form).

These adminsitrators are able to post the published form, but for some
reason it posts as an unknown file type instead as an InfoPath file type.
The files are inaccessible. I don't understand why this is. They have the
same rights and software as I do and I can post the form just fine. Makes
any sense?
