I want to allow some Sharepoint users to fill out a form, but nothing more. I
assume that the minimal role those users should be in is the "Contributor"
role (am I right?). But, when they open the form, not only they can fill it
out, they can also open it in desing mode, change the template, and publish
the form back to Sharepoint (!?).
How do I prevent such behaviour?
As I understand (I heared from the Webcast "Best Practices in Designing
Infopath forms"), Tools - Form options - General - Enable protection only
warns users that they shouldn't do any changes to the template, but it
doesn't actually prevent them from doing so. As noted in the webcast, this
should "discourage them" (the dialog box also states the same)?
Tnx!
