Infopath Sharepoint

Sam

We have a SharePoint intranet site (s). We have an employee that has
permissions to publish this form he created to SharePoint. He has published
the template to SharePoint. Users can open the template, but the form that
they have filled out and uploaded, no one can access. I am assuming that
those forms need to also be published instead of uploaded? Also, to my
knowledge we do not have a infopath server, what does this do having it vs
not having it?

Hey Sam,
I'll answer your last question first InfoPath Form Services allows you to
publish form templates that can be viewed in the browser rather than relying
on the end user having the InfoPath client installed.

In regards to your initial issue this sounds like a permissions problem,
just to clarify only the Form template needs to be be published to
SharePoint. Once the .xsn is published the resulting files are simply .xml
files that contain a pointer to the original template's location. So having
a user fill out the template and upload the resulting .xml file shouldn't be
a problem.

as a matter of interest what version of InfoPath and SharePoint are you
using?

Cheers
Ben Walters
