Infopath Submit to return a if there are any failures

Hi,

I have a Infopath form that actually gets submitted through the custom
submit, to a webservice and gets saved into the database. If there were
issues with saving to the Database, in the Infopath end, i am still
getting a Submit successful message.
How do i trap these error and prevent the submit successful message and
show the failure message in a user friendly manner? any help is highly
appreciated.
