Infopath Table Properties not accessible

I've been working on an Infopath form for a couple months now, and all
of a sudden, I can not change the properties of a table... if I
manually increase the size of the table by dragging, once the page is
saved, closed and re-opened, it goes back to its original size.

Can not add new tables, need to copy and paste from another blank file.

Can not merge, add or delete cells, rows or columns.

All these options are greyed out. Even from the Table dropdown at the
top.

Anyone run into this before?!?
