Infopath Templates

There is a template on info path that I would like to modify with my own
fields - I have attempted to open this "customize a sample", but it does not
allow me to update/delete fields in the data source. Does anyone know of a
way to do this?

Hello

Open this template in the designer and save this to the local file system
and then extract the form files and try editing the xsn again. This should
work without any issues.
