INFOPATH WITH ACCESS 2003

Hi, I am beginning with Infopath.
I want to use Infopath only to get information from Access and
generate request or macro under Access 2003, is it possible ?
For Instance : I have a major table which contains Sales team
information which means :
- Name of the Sales Managers
- Name of the Account executives
- Objectives by categories

I'd like to create a form on Info path with a first list giving the
possibility to select Sales Manager, then a second list giving only
the Account Executive from the Sales Manager Team and then a button to
generate a request from Access.

I have done this under Access only, but I'd like to use InfoPath
because it is more comfortable for users.

Thanks

Hey there.

InfoPath, once you get used to it, is a lot easier and more powerful for the
user interface to your data.

I would recomend switching from Access to SQL Express, which is free, but
performs much better in a multi-user, enterprise environment.

Also I would look at the Database Accelerator product at http://www.qdabra.com

It gives you a ton of pre-built web services which allow you to interact
with your data. It has an active directory service so you can identify the
user of your form. It also stores the form in the database to enable secuirty
and control.

Lastly it makes your job as the developer way easier and it is free.

Hi,

Thank you for your quick answer. The fact is that I can only work with
Access and Infopath as I do not have Admin Rights to install other
programs (even if it is free).
