Hello, as some of you may already know, the new office 2007 has a new
default format,
the extensions are the same as before but with an X in the end.. for
example,
the .doc format is now .docx
These new formats are compressed (with a zip function) to save space and are
now based on XML.
Of course office2007 can save in the older formats too.
What happens though when someone sends you a docx file and you have only
word 2000, 2002(XP) or 2003?
Well they have made a compatibility pack... see these links for the download
