Infuriating Graphics Issue

typical of Word, I have problem that has occurred mid way through a doc,
using a process i have used for years. Whats even more annoying is that I
have used the process successfully higher up in the same document.

I have copy pasted a screen print into word and what to add arrows and text
box to explain. When I do this, the text box is created but two thirds of
the picture screen shot goes whiteout. It starts from the left edge position
of the text box.

Its driving me insane. I tried the picture placeholders option but that was
already off and turning it on makes no difference. please please help.
Thanks
Rob

The problem is that the drawing objects are inserted with the wrong wrapping
style. Select each and choose In Front of Text, and your problem will be
solved.

I've had plenty of frustrating experience with this, as I often type real
estate appraisal reports that include maps that have to have lots of numbers
and arrows and other such things imposed on them. What is even more
frustrating is that, even if you correctly set the wrapping for individual
drawing objects, as soon as you group them, they revert to Square (or
whatever) and have to be changed again.

thanks again. I must say, Word is the worlds most baffling application
often. It just seems to take a life of it own for no apparent reason, it
strikes mid doc and just drives me insanse. compared to excel which is
probably on of the worlds best ever applications, its madness. i swear it
will make be bald and lose my brad pitt looks!! :)
