Inheriting Categories from syncing calendars

My mac sync's with my calendar from work that is held on our exchange server at work. Now all my dates are categorised on the exchange server and have different colours, very pretty like. but when they come across they have to be re-categorised as the mac doesn't inherit the categories. is there anyway I can do this?

Well the current version of Office doesn't sync categories through
Exchange.
MS is working on a new version that uses Exchange Web Services which
will be able to syn them (is I remember correctly from the public
announcement),

I'm afraid you'll have to wait until it comes out.
