Inheriting the default Windows UI in Office 2007?

Hi. When I installed Office 2007 for the first time, I was horrified.
That ugly blue is not my cup of tea. Fortunately I discovered the
Silver thing, and it's a little bit better now. But I wonder if it is
possible to have Office 2007 honor my default Windows UI settings and
*not* have its own UI thing going? Thanks.

Hi Kiula,

If you use the Accessibility options in the Windows control panel for the display they'll override the Windows and Office theming
choices, but they also turn off various graphic effects, so it's probably not going to give you what you want. There isn't a
'follow Windows settings' choice in Office 2007.

The blue choice is to go with Windows XP default coloring, the black with Windows vista default coloring and the silver to remove
the gradients from the background to make it cleaner when doing on screen tutorials or doing screen captures for grey scale prinouts
(among other reasons).
