Initial Document1 is not blank!

Somehow the default loading of a blank Document1 on opening of Msft Word loads one of our files. It must have mistakenly gotten overwritten when we saved a file??? Does anyone know how to revert back to a blank Document1 file? I did a search on my computer for Document1.* and nothing was found...
