Initializing a field

Derrick King

I need set a User-Defined field to a value, when the form is loaded. When
Using VB I would set the field on the form onload() and txtfield1 = now()+7

I can't seem to get a value displayed with a User-Defined field, from what
I understand I need to bing a User-Defined field to the textbox and assign
the value to the User-defined field, which I have tried, but doesn't seem to
work

Thanks
Derrick

There is an event menu if the Outlook code editor that will create the stub
for the form-open event in the code editor. You put the initialization code
there.

Right-click the text box, then switch to the Value tab. This is where you choose a field and can set a default value.
