I have a user that has an XP Pro machine with Office 2007 installed. When she
tries to open a file through Word, navigating to a network drive she gets a
window open with the progress bar and 'initializing root folders to display’.
It takes about 30 seconds and this disappers and the files appear as they
should, but the mouse can't actually click on any of them.
I have followed a few threads relating to disconnecting old network drives.
This is not the issue. All network drives are valid and can be accessed
through windows explorer with out any delays. The user can use this as a
workaround but the issue is still an Issue. Any ideas?
