Initials and Gantt Bars

I am running MS Project 2000. The default gantt bar label
for resource is "Resource Name". You can manually change
any bar label; in particular, you can change the resource
to "Resource Initial". Is there any way to do that for
all bars either as a default condition or via some "apply
to all" approach?

The Gantt Wizard allows you to select custom text for bar
labels, but Resource Initials is not one of the available
selections.

Hi

try
format / bar styles - choose Task and then click on the "text" tab (middle
of the screen) ... this will do all task bars (note you might have to do
Critical tasks separately - using the same method).
