Initiated by NT Authority System

Once on the Internet, Windows completely shut downs for
the reason "Initiated by NT Authority System - Remote
Procedure Call Service has been terminated". Never had a
problem with this until recently.

Based on the symptoms you describe, it sounds like your computer has been
infected with the W32.Blaster worm - about which there has been
*significant* publicity, security warnings, email from Microsoft and
anti-virus software vendors, etc., these last few days.
