I'm running Microsoft Word 2003 on a Windows XP professional Toshiba laptop
with a touchscreen. There is a very specific function I am performing that
is causing Word to crash. To duplicate this crash, do the following:
1) Create a New Word Document.
2) Add an ink annotation to the document
3) Go to File --> Versions and save a version of the document
4) Return to the document and add a second ink annotation
5) Save a second version of the document
6) Save the file and re-open it
7) Attempt to open the original version of the document with the single ink
annotation.
Word shuts down and the following is available on the error report:
AppName: winword.exe
AppVer: 11.0.6568.0
AppStamp: 42e178a5
ModName: mso.dll
ModVer: 11.0.6568.0
ModStamp: 42e18ef6
fDebug: 0
Offset: 0057a454
Is anywhere aware of or experienced this issue and if so, do you know of a
workaround/fix?
Thanks,
Jon
