Ink annotations and Word Viewer

I have been using Word 2003 Beta, with latest refresh.
Ink annotations works great on my Tablet PC.

However, when others on my network attempt to view my
documents that are annotated, if they have Word Viewer,
the ink annotations are often in the wrong locations and
do not view properly. If they have Word 2003 they can see
the documents just fine.

Will there eventually be a new Word Viewer so that others
with this program can properly view inked documents
without needing the full Word 2003 program?

Hi Joe,

There haven't been any announced plans for a new
Word viewer. You may want to try using the
setting in Tools=>Options=>Save to disable
features not available after Word 97 which sets
object positioning rules to those Word 97 understands,
or using Save As an MHT (Web Archive) file format
that could be opened in a browser.
