Ink Annotations on Tablet PC with Word2003 Not Showing in Word2000

For some reason ink annotations captured on a Tablet w/ Word2003 sometimes do
not show up in Word2000. I have a document with two annotations, one of
which shows in Word2000, the other does not. I cannot find any specific
settings that cause this to happen and I am new to Word2003. Any help is
greatly appreciated.

Hi Chris,

Ink Annotation isn't supported directly in Office 2000.
Is the the annotation saved as a graphic in Word 2000?

The annotations do appear as graphics in Word2000. On one particular
document, one of the annotations shows and the other does not. I cannot even
get a box for the second annotation. If there's some way I can modify the
document to show in Word2000, it would be nice. Unfortunately tablets need
2003 and my office is still on 2000. Thanks.

Hi Chris,

What do you see where the 2nd graphic should be in
both Print layout view and in Print Preview?

Oddly, in Print layout I see one of the annotations as stated above, but when
I change to Normal view I see neither. There is no box, no writing, nothing
to indicate that an annotation is there.

Hi Chris,

Normal view cannot show graphics that have a layout
style (Format Picture) of any type other than
'in line with text'.

Does Print Preview or printing show both graphics?

If the graphic is set to inline with text make sure that
in Format=>Paragraph for that line you have set the spacing
to 'single' rather than to an 'exact' point/inch size in height.

Unfortunately, print preview and printing both only show the one graphic.
The second graphic is there, but will not show. Both graphics only show on
the TabletPCs, which are the only Office2003 systems that I have. I did want
to say that I appreciate your help thus far Bob. Thanks.

Hi Chris,

If you would like me to take a look at the file
feel free to email it to me (preferably zipped) :)

OK, I can't figure out how to email you, which I find strangely frustrating
and semi-demeaning. :D Think you could help me out? Thanks for all your
help.

Hi Chris,

Due to news scrapers many folks have to somehow 'mislabel'
their email addresses to reduce spam.

Remove the part in parentheses from the email address

"Bob Buckland ?:)" <75214.226(At Beautiful Downtown)compuserve.com>
and replace the "at with @
