ink comments

i realllllly need to add ink comments to my assignment but without using a
tablet pc - i have a drawing tablet, so i can still do essentially the same
thing, but word wont let me - is there any way to get ink comments into word
using my tablet

im using word 2003 - i read in the help that ink can be used ONLY if you
have a tablet pc OR a tablet..... i because the price tag on the tablet pcs
are outrageous (even tho i want one), a tablet is all i have and i really
need to insert ink comment and drawing in to my assignment - but not using
the drawing box - i have to insert proofreading symbols etc (proofreading a
document)

No, to use Ink, you need a tablet PC.

You may want to look at One Note as an alternative
http://www.microsoft.com/Office/onenote/prodinfo/demo.msp
with an appropriate Wacom (or better) pen/tablet does a decent job. I use it as an alternate to a tablet. Cost issue
To date, integration with other Office 2003 applications is lacking, but they are working on it from reading the ON newsgroup. The SP just issued for the original version is even better..
