*.ink file

I have a user that ends up with files with the *.ink
extension when she attaches *.doc files to e-mails?
Having difficulty in eliminating this problem which
results in the recipient not being able to open the
attachment. Any insights would be appreciated! Thanks

Could the file association be *.lnk?

If that is the case she isn't attaching the document but rather a
shortcut to the document.
