inked notes won't paste after being copied?

I don't know when or how, but suddenly, whenever I copy some of my inked
notes and I want to paste them somewhere, even in the same exact location (if
I use cut), they won't paste. I'll hit the convert to drawing button a
thousand times, but it won't paste properly, and if it isn't set as a
drawing, OneNote will paste text instead of my inked notes.

Help?

Well I found the solution... you have to paste a real picture, and click the
paste options and set keep source formatting as the default.
