Inked text hidden by graphics

Hi,

sometimes when I paste a graphic into onenote and annotate with inked text,
the inked text gets hidden beneath the graphic. I tried to find someway to
reorder these "layers" but have been unsuccessful. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

It's not possible in ON to manually set z-order of objects. They'll be placed
depending on creation date. For annotating graphic you can try setting the
image to background then all other objects will show on top of it. The
drawbacks of background images are
- they cannot be selected and resized/moved/deleted (while set to background
but you can always restore it back to foreground)
- they cannot be part of a text container
To set image to background right click it and choose the last option from
the context menu.

Thanks Irina. This seems to work. Moreover, when I restore the picture from
the backgroun, it stays behind the inked text.

I appreciate your tip.
