Machine: Gateway TA6 tablet. OS: XP-Pro tablet.
Problem: When a Word 2003 (.doc) file is opened then marked in ink
(Review-Start Inking), and then saved as a Word 2007 document, all the ink is
shifted far from the original location.
Fix: Do mark-ups as you please, then before saving, click once on ‘select
objects’ (inking ribbon), and then save. The ink will remain in the proper
place. This fixes the document for all subsequent opening of the file and
inkings so that you need not do the ‘select objects’ again; just proceed
normally.
Attitude Fix: *sigh*, I've nothing for that. It's a pain here because we
have about 7,000 of these machines in use.
