1. Is the beta 2 inking the "final version" that will be
in the final product? I still find that annotating
directly on a word document is not nearly as smooth or
consistent as it is in Journal or with regular Tablet
sticky notes. Why is this?
2. Will it always be that when one uses ink directly in
a word document, the placement of the ink moves
(sometimes dramatically) when viewing in a different
view? For example, if one "inks" a document in Page
View, then switches to Reading View (without "actual
page" enabled), the ink is all messed up. This makes me
nervous; I do not want my inked notes to be in a
different location than I intended when my documents are
read by others.
3. Is the "intent" of inking to only "temporarily" mark
up and annotate, or is Micosoft trying to fully implement
the ability to ink/type on the same document? For
example, using the beta, I have attempted to make
documents with lines and check boxes that one can "fill
in" via ink answers to questions, or check (with ink)
various choices. But, given the problems with "ink"
moving when switching various views, this seems
problematic. One would't want an inked checkmark to move
down a page, and end up appearing to be checking a
different box. (Hope I'm explaining this clearly).
Thanks. Joe
