inport address from labels to address book

i have 1500 names & address which someone put on cd-r disc to print out
lables for me useing microsoft words on his conputer. now i have a computer
and want to install all the name and address into my conputer on to my
address book in microsoft office works useing his cd-r disc (can some help
please)

Copy the cd to your hard drive, see if Word will open it. What format is the list?

I have now found out that the copy file my friend gave me is just acopy file
of just the labels print out and thats why I could not do anything with it,
he still has the address data file. Thank you for your help.
