All messages in Entourage are stored in:

~/Documents/Microsoft User Data

where " ~ " is your home folder.

Will this crash your computer? That depends on how much hard drive space
you have available.

I'm going to guess you have left all your messages in your Inbox. You
should consider making folders within your Gmail account in Entourage
and file these away. Your Inbox is synchronized more frequently than
mail folders. Keeping your Inbox as clean as possible will improve
performance.

More about Entourage and Gmail:

Have a look at these blog posts for connecting Entourage to Gmail.

"Connect Entourage 2004 to Gmail’s IMAP service"

"Create Gmail labels and make Entourage folders"

Hope this helps!

All messages in Entourage are stored in:

~/Documents/Microsoft User Data

To expand on this further, all your data is stored in a database file inside
your Identities folder.

~/Documents/Microsoft User Data/Office 2008 Identities
