Input and text in Greek, want English

Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger)
Processor: Intel

When opening PowerPoint, where it normally says "Click to add title" in English, it's written in Greek characters, and while typing, text is in Greek characters as well. I can't figure out how to get it back to English. A student has changed this on a few of the computers and short of reimaging the computers, there must be a solution!

In a new presentation or in existing presentations?

If in a new presentation, I'd guess that somebody's played games with your
default template.

Try this:

Start a new presentation
Choose to Save As and pick Template/Design or whatever they callem in 2008.

Does the dialog box automatically default to a different folder for the save?
If so, note the location. You don't have to actually save your file.

Now quit PPT and go to that folder and look for any templates whose names
start with Blank. Might be just Blank or Blank Presentation or the like.
(Sorry for the vague-osity ... I don't have 2008).

Move them to another folder.

Start PPT again and create a new file.

Better?

If you don't

Unfortunately, that didn't work. I moved the "Normal" template out (the only one in there) and it created a new one with the same issue. It only happens in PowerPoint, not in Word or Excel.

There should be other templates available ... what happens if you start a new
presentation based on one of them (don't start a new blank then apply the
template, that won't help).

Can someone familiar with 2008 jump in and explain how to set the default
editing language for PPT, assuming that's possible.
