Right click on any toolbar and select Control Toolbox.
Select a textbox from here and show the properties window
(this is the hand holding the bit of paper). Edit
the 'LinkedCell' property, eg Sheet2!D1
Now exit design mode, (the triangle button) and anything
you enter in the text box will be displayed in Sheet2!D1

the forms toolbar is greyed out and I am unable to get the
textbox in the control toolbar to work. I can insert it
into excel and adjust the settings but it never allows me
to enter a value. I am trying to use the forms textbox
since I don't want to sue VBA and Macros. How do I do
this?
