Input Japanese in Excel X

I have english version of Office X. I can input Japanese in Word X
but can not do it in Excel X, when I try to paste the Japanese
characters that I type in Word X to Excel X it appear to be some
symbol and character, I have also double check that the font of the
cell is set to Osaka already. Excel X had already been registered to
Japanese.

Maybe you've solved the problem, but if you installed the Microsoft Language
Registration tool, just drag-and-drop the Excel icon to the MLR icon, and it
will make Excel Japanese friendly. Do the same for Word and PowerPoint. This
will install Japanese language proofing tools for all of the Office apps,
along with toolbar functions and Prefences settings.
